Provides general office support and performs Customer Accounting transactions affecting billing.
Performs specific work functions within the department such as invoice processing, billing adjustments and account maintenance.
Records Management Custodian responsibilities including file maintenance, reporting and compliance to internal and regulatory required retention policies.
Provide assistance to internal and external customers with billing inquiries.
Must be willing to assume a storm restoration role and travel if necessary.
Minimum education required of the position
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum experience required of the position
Clerk:Specialty I : 0:2 years of experience
Clerk:Specialty II : 2:4 years of experience
Clerk:Specialty Sr : 5:7 years of experience
Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications, Entergy Corporate and Distribution applications (CCS, DSS, DIS, Indus, Earl, Pearl, VEA, ECOS, AM/FM DFM, AM/FM Production and Time and Labor. Must be familiar with CCS. Familiar will all company policies and procedures. Possess excellent communication skills, both written and oral with internal and external customers. Willing to work extended hours as needed. Self:starter with high initiative, willingness to learn new processes. Excellent multitasking and team working capability a must.
Successful completion of the EEI SASS test.
