Job Summary
The Sales Director will be responsible for the cradle to grave development of the sales strategy and execution for the designated product type. This includes defining the vision, sales direction, and budgeting for the product grouping. Sales path to market will involve directly managing Regional Sales Managers and Account Managers. This position is responsible for the achieving or exceeding, order intake budget.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
:Sets the strategic direction for a product type in collaboration with the VP of Sales and in alignment with the overall sales strategy and business goals of Setpoint Integrated Solutions.
:Translates sales strategies into detailed plans, aligned with product, marketing and channel capabilities, to meet the order intake budgeted for the product categories.
:Ensures order intake growth within a product type, operates within T and E budget and accurately forecasts future expectations.
:Owns the OEM relationship for respective product groupings and coordinates and works with OEM partners to agree and execute joint strategies
:Actively engages across the organization as the sales functional expert, providing market, operational and customer input
:Sets a clear sales strategy by product type executed by the Regional Sales Managers with accountability for growth
:Manages business plans to achieve agreed upon order intake.
:Sets appropriate metrics for opportunity management.
interdepartmentally with the entire organization to achieve sales goals and product sales strategies
:Monitors customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback.
:Resolves customer and business issues as needed.
:Responsible for creating a winning team including hiring talent, assessing current talent, succession planning and training sales management personnel
:Attracts, develops and retains sales talent to ensure a high performing team.
:Report on all aspects of the business to senior management
:Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
:Bachelors degree
:10+ more years of experience in product sales
:3+ years of experience in sales management
:Strong strategic and sales planning experience
:Experience in employee training and development

:Expertise in sales business development and project management
:Strong interpersonal and communication skills
:Must be available to travel throughout company territory to perform training, presentations, meetings, and participate in other company events; overnight travel frequently required up to 30
:Must be able to travel and have a clear driving record in accordance to Setpoint IS driving guidelines
:Clear background check and drug and alcohol screening
